GCT Grease Traps

A grease trap (grease interceptor or fat trap) is a plumbing fixture designed to intercept most greases, oils, fats and solids before they enter a wastewater disposal system. Wastewater from food preparation areas containing animal fats and vegetable oils can combine with other disposed solids to block drain pipes.

GCT stainless steel grease traps are designed according to standards set out in SANS 10252-2 and most also meet the requirements of European Standard EN 1825: 2004.
